2023 AGM/Call for Nominations and Resolutions

Community Health Services Association (Regina) Limited is a not for profit charitable health care co-operative that governs the Regina Community Clinic. The clinic was founded in 1962, upon co-operative values and operates within the co-operative model. The Regina Community Clinic is a distinct health care entity which provides integrated and holistic primary healthcare, social and educational services to the Regina community. The Association welcomes all interested individuals.

Competencies and/or Experience:

• Knowledge of and Experience within the Saskatchewan Health Sector
• Financial Literacy
• Strategic Vision, Analysis, Implementation and Long-Term Planning Skills
• Risk Oversight Previous Board Experience
• Working Knowledge of the Co-operative Model and Democratic Environment
• Fundraising for Not For Profit Organizations
• Knowledge of and Experience of Lobbying and Advocacy
• Flexibility and Independent Thinking
• Teamwork in Decision Making and Problem Solving
• Time Commitment
• Functional Knowledge or expertise in Governance, Technology/IT, Legal, Human Resources, Marketing, and Organizational Management

The  Candidate Questionnaire/Application form (printable pdf)  is intended to provide the Nominating committee of the Community Health Services Association (Regina) Limited with background information on your skills and experience to assist in confirming candidate qualification.

The information you provide will be treated confidentially and will be used solely to assist in the nominee selection process. This information is an expression of your interest to be considered for nomination to the Board of the Community Health Services Association (Regina) Limited.

Resolution Process – to be submitted to the Annual General Meeting

1. Member(s) submit a resolution on the Resolution Form (Appendix B), or a document with the information included in the attached form, to the Governance Committee of the Board of Regina Community Clinic by the deadline. The deadline for submission will be announced and publicized with the notice of the Annual Meeting.

2. The Governance Committee will call a meeting following the deadline to review all Resolutions for proper form and to determine if any clarification is needed. If further information is any revisions.

3. The Governance Committee will determine if any similar submissions can be consolidated to a composite resolution, and to ensure that objectives stated in the Resolutions are in compliance with the Regina Community Clinic Bylaws and The Co-op Act.

4. All Resolutions submitted to the Governance Committee will be forwarded to the Board at the regularly scheduled board meeting prior to the Annual General Meeting.

5. All Resolutions submitted to the Governance Committee will be publicized to the membership in the Annual General Meeting package.
